A lesson in Patience~

We have lots of ideas and plans
for our little homestead here on the hill.
It truly is a lesson in patience for me.
All the projects take planning,
lots of time,
and money.
Patience!
Dave & I have lots of ideas,
thoughts, and dreams for this place.
So for now, we do what we can,
when we can.
This year it was some progress on the house
like painting, caulking, and winterizing...
Thank you, honey, for a new front door!
And it was new barn cats
and
a flock of laying hens
plus a rooster (thank you Z family)!
It was a dog sitting business for the kids,
who are saving up for a horse.
And, an abundance of eggs to
sell for covering feed costs...
L.O.T.S.
to be
THANKFUL
for!
GARLIC
I love gardening~
This year we started a compost bin
and this fall planted a 'garlic' box.
I enjoyed reading these posts
on how to plant garlic and can
hardly wait until next spring
when it comes up!
COMPOST BIN
In the future, we're hoping to build a greenhouse.
But for now,
patience.
And, thankfulness for all we have!
God is good~

A change of seasons~

Where we live, in our mountain home, the seasons are changing.  Already we have had snow dust the mountains more than once this fall....
