Fresh Eggs~

Finally,

our little brood of new chicks,

a.k.a. 'the girls'

(from this past June),

have begun to lay eggs!

The eggs are a wee bit small,

but will get larger as they go along.

We have missed fresh eggs since our last flock~

I just love the color of the Americana egg~

It wasn't this girl that laid 'em, but she was pretty happy
to have eggs next to her ;)

So far, out of 13 layers, it looks like two of the Leghorns
and one Americana have begun to lay~It'll just get
better from here.
