Homestead Happenings~

June just flew by at our house~

And now the 4th of July has come and gone.

Thankfully there are still weeks of summer left~

I plan to enjoy each and every one

no matter how FAST

they go!

We weren't sure if Tippy had 'taken'
and was truly bred.  But over time it's
become, well, quite obvious :)

We don't know how many she's carrying,
but we're hoping for one little doeling to keep~

Baby chicks have moved out of the brooder
in the house and are officially in the coop~

The nesting boxes got a new coat of paint~

And, the chicks are enjoying their new 'space'~

We're still finishing up some things, but it's almost there~

  

Callie, 1-year old now, is my walking buddy
and companion~

Odd, for around here, but a Sandhill crane has been hanging out on occasion~

And the bucks are growing their antlers again~

The garden greenhouse is booming with
all this heat~  

Tomatillos are bursting with blooms~

Basil is abundant~

Herbs are thriving~

Roses from my man~just because.

Blessed rain and a rainbow of promise~

And the beautiful sunsets at the end of the day~

God is GOOD!
