Races & Rodeos~

July brought the annual 5k run, 

on the 4th,

which Jonathan ran~

We left the house at 6am~

All the runners listening to the instructions
for the course~

He got a good time and was 8th in
his age group

Then, we gathered the family, (including

my nephew, Caleb, from the midwest, who has been living

 with us for a few weeks and working for Dave),

and

headed out to the local rodeo~

The cousins~

We enjoyed an evening full of bareback
riding, barrel racing, steer wrestling,
team roping, saddle bronc, and, of course
bull riding.
We had watched the movie, 8 minutes the night before;
and I was hoping there wouldn't be
any injuries.
There weren't.
Close calls~
but thankfully, no injuries.
