Summit County holds its annual fair in August.
This year the kids wanted to participate in
some of the events.
So they started with the ribbon pull.
For Olivia's age group (she's in the pink hat)
it was sheep,
and for Jonathan's age group
it was calves.

chasing the calves as they run...
he got pretty close here...
and, almost got the ribbon!
Maybe next year
Then Jonathan and friend Hudson teamed up
for the sheep milking contest~
Here's the 'unsuspecting' sheep
And once that whistle blows,
lookout,
those kids BOLT for the sheep
and
tackle them down
Jonathan & Hudson got theirs pretty fast,
but the milk wasn't coming out too
well, I heard.
